Crinkle cookies
Ingredients:
• 1 cup (110 gms) White Flour
• ¼ cup (50gms) Brown Sugar
• ½ tsp Baking Soda
• Pinch of Salt
• 1 cup (110gms) Dark Chocolate Chunk
Mix one cup of white flour, ¼ cup of brown sugar and ½ tsp of baking soda together in a bowl.
Add a pinch of salt and mix it well, then sprinkle dark chocolate chunks over the mix. Add 1/3 cup of butter, ½ egg and 1 spoon of powdered sugar. Once you feel the consistency is even, you can then place the mix in your fridge or cooler for 10-15 mins.
As the dough settles, you can then start rolling it into a ball with powdered sugar and bake it at a temperature of 180°C or 350°F for 15 mins. You can then serve hot cookies to all your family and friends.
Vegan Coconut Jar Cookies
Ingredients:
• ½ cup (50gms) White Flour
• ½ tsp Baking Soda
• 1 cup (100gms) Shredded Coconut
• 1 cup of Crunchy Vegan Chunks
• ½ (60gms) Brown Sugar
Add white flour and baking soda to a jar, layer brown sugar on top, add shredded coconut and top it off with crunchy vegan chunks.
Add 80 grams of coconut oil and 80 grams of almond milk according to consistency. Chill the dough in a cooler or your fridge for 30 mins and scoop the dough thereafter into small pieces and bake it at a temperature of 180°C or 350°F for 15 mins. You can then serve hot cookies to your family and friends.
White Choco Crunchy Cookies
Ingredients:
• 1 cup (120gms) White Flour
• ½ tsp Baking Soda
• ⅓ cup (50gms) Ground Hazelnuts
• ½ cup (70gms) White Sugar
• ½ cup (70gms) White Chocolate Chunks
Add white flour and baking soda in a bowl and blend in a layer of hazelnuts and top it off with white chocolate chunks.
Add 2 tsp (30gms) of butter, and 1 tsp of milk. Then start rolling each into a ball and bake it at a temperature of 180°C or 350°F for 15 mins. You can then serve hot cookies to all your family and friends.
Bonus recipe
Rum cake
Ingredients:
• 1 (18.25 ounce) package of Cake Mix
• 1 (3.5 ounces) package of instant Vanilla Pudding Mix
• 4 Eggs
• ½ cup Water
• ½ cup Vegetable Oil
• ½ cup chopped Walnuts/Almonds
• 3 tablespoons Butter
• ¼ cup water
• 1 cup White Sugar
You would first need to preheat your oven to 165°C or 325°F. Blend in cake mix and pudding mix evenly and add eggs, water, oil and rum and stir the mix until it becomes frothy.
Take a pan, add shredded walnuts/almonds and pour the mix on a pan. Place the pan in your pre-heated oven for 60 mins.
In the last 15-20 mins of baking time, blend butter, water and sugar, in a saucepan and boil this syrup to medium flame and add ½ glass of rum.
Once the cake is baked, poke holes in the cake and pour the syrup on top of the cake. Keep the cake at room temperature for a day and then refrigerate the cake for 10-15 mins and you can then serve it to all your family and friends.
