Summer is blazing right now, and it is time that all of us get our refreshments menu in order. If you, too, are tired of plain fruit juices, glucose energy drinks, or rose syrups. In that case, mocktails could be your best fire-extinguishing alternative. Â
Whether it’s a long day at work or a lazy Sunday afternoon, sipping on a chilled mocktail can relieve the stress and heat of the season. To help you out, we have already done all the hard work and brought you five of our tastiest alternatives. Â

1. The Blueberry Cooler
The blueberry cooler is revitalizing on a hot summer day and a perfectly healthy mocktail for your refreshment. Â
To make the drink, you first need:Â
– One cup of blueberries
– One cup sugar
– One cup water
– Sparkling water or club sod
– Lemon juice
– Ice
Step 1: Add one cup of water into a cup of blueberries and sprinkle a cup of sugar to it. Bring the mixture to a boil, simmer it for 10-15 minutes and then let the strained syrup cool for a while. Â
Set aside the blueberry chunks and pulp that were separated while straining the syrup.
Step 2: Fill up a tall glass with the desired amount of crushed ice and put 2-3 tablespoons of the strained syrup into it. Add a tablespoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice into the glass. Â
Step 3:Â Pour in sparkling water or club soda gently to fill the rest of it, and your blueberry cooler is ready to be sipped or gulped down!
2. Kiwi Mojito Mocktail
For those on the lookout for a tasty cooling drink, the Kiwi Mojito Mocktail is the top contender. Â
To make this thirst quencher, you need:Â Â
– Two chopped kiwi fruitsÂ
– One large lemon Â
– Mint leaves Â
– HoneyÂ
– Soda water Â
– Ice cubes Â
Step 1: Thinly slice one half of the large lemon and crush half of the lemon slices with one sliced kiwi and a few mint leaves. Â
Step 2: Transfer the crushed ingredients into a jug or a tall glass with 2-3 tablespoons of honey, some soda water, and ice. Mix all of it well, and when serving, sprinkle a few more kiwi slices, lemon slices, and mint leaves on top.  Â
Step 3:Â If you are looking for a little more zing, add a little black pepper powder or ginger slices while making the crushed mixture.Â
3. Virgin Cucumber Gimlet
No summer is ever complete without a fine cucumber drink. The virgin cucumber gimlet is easy, healthy, rehydrating, and rejuvenating. Â
To make the gimlet at home, you need:Â Â
– Simple cucumber syrup (2-3 tablespoons)Â
– Ice
– 4-5 slices of crushed cucumber Â
– Soda water or sparkling waterÂ
– Freshly squeezed lime juice Â
Step 1: First, start by preparing the simple cucumber syrup. Add 12 slices of cucumber to a simmering solution of one cup of sugar and one cup of water and cook for two minutes. Â
Step 2: Set the syrup aside and let it sit for 10 minutes before straining and refrigerating. Â
Step 3:Â After your simple cucumber syrup is ready, combine all the listed ingredients and shake with ice to have your refreshing drink prepared in no time.
4. Citrus Strawberry MocktailÂ

Our citrus strawberry mocktail recipe is just what you need. Â
To make this tangy drink, you will need:Â Â
– 500 gm strawberryÂ
– 1/4 cup lemon juiceÂ
– 1/2 cup orange juiceÂ
– Icing sugar as required
– Ice cubes as requiredÂ
– Lemon slices as requiredÂ
– 1/2 cup sparkling water or club soda Â
Step 1: Blend the orange juice, strawberries, lime juice, and sparkling water in a jar until you see a combined mixture. Â
Step 2: Add crushed ice into a bowl of sparkling water and stir it gently. Â
Step 3: Wipe the remaining lemon onto the rim of the glass and then roll it in icing sugar to deliver the sweet taste with every sip. Pour the drink from the blender into the glass and garnish it with a hanging lemon slice on the rim.  Â

5. Mango Freeze

– Three mangoesÂ
– 1 cup ice cubesÂ
– 350 ml peach nectar/ syrupÂ
– 1 tablespoon honeyÂ
Step 1: Combine all the ingredients in a blender and mix till it is completely smooth. Your tasty Mango Freeze is ready to be served. Â
